Essentials — After breakfast, drive to Gongtan Ancient Town , praised as a “bright pearl” at the start of the Wujiang Gallery . Stroll the riverside stilt houses and stone streets, then enjoy a riverside tea break overlooking the Wujiang. Board the Wujiang Gallery cruise for at least an hour on the green river, passing dramatic cliffs and gorge scenery. In the afternoon, continue to Chiyou Jiuli City , a vast Miao-style complex recreating the legendary city of Jiuli. Finish the day at a Tongjing hot-spring hotel (or similar); soak in the pools to relax.
